Art Appreciation Starts Early

There’s so much lame art out there for small people. And that is a terrible thing. I’m convinced bad art rots little brains. It’s why I ended up eschewing popular mass market toddler art for framed pages of retro books for my kids. I spent ages hunting down old books from the 60′s and 70s with interesting line art, decoupage prints etc. Lucky for you now, there is Etsy and Jonty Bloom.

Fabric Balloon Ball For Big & Little Kids

Does your baby love balloons? Are they just spellbound by how they magically float over head. Silk Dyed Easter Egg Kit from The June Bride

Stuffies and Owl's Wings from Sleepy King

Spring is looming. Easter baskets. Hatless outings. Critters creeping out from hibernation. Clearly inspiration is also striking. Take a lookat these awesome stuffed toys from SleepyKing! I’ve fallen in love with all their stuffies, from the bunnies to the foxes to the adorable squirrels.

Equally sweet are their vegan Woodland Owl headbands. I love the somewhat 20′s vibe these have. They make me think “flapper” in a whole new... → Read the rest of this article
