OMG, raspberry sugar? I think that’s what sugar in heaven must be like.
And lime sugar? Not sure which of these would be more incredible on the rim of my cocktail glass, so I’d probably have to try it both ways. You know, just to be thorough.
I’m all about the research.
The things I do for you people.
Orcas Alchemy is a family-owned all natural and organic specialty food company, located in the beautiful San Juan islands of the Pacific Northwest.
Orcas Alchemy emerged from our own dinner parties, where we explored new flavor combinations with friends. Oftentimes, one special ingredient can elevate a dish or culinary experience. We seek to create conversational ingredients: flavors that are worthy of a conversation themselves, or will create conversation among you and your friends. Our mission is to encourage life’s most treasured moments spent with good friends and family by connecting you to food in a transformative way.
I love that raspberry sugar!!!

I just (sigh) used up the last of my truffle salt from Orcas Alchemy. It added this subtle and delicious and mysterious taste to my dishes. I’m not telling; let them think I’m a genius, when it’s really Orcas Alchemy’s Lisa who discovered how to make everything taste great!

Erika, you are generous in your research efforts but, if you should need any help, please call on me! Seriously, these amazing offerings from Orcas sound wonderful!

Hey Amanda, I was just looking at your shop last night ;) Expect email from me!
When I saw the picture and didn’t read the description, I totally assumed it was bath salts or something. Now that I know I could eat it?? Oh boy…
You could make a raspberry-lime rickey and roll the rim of the glass in both sugars…omg. Or roll the rim of a cupcake in them and have it stick to the frosting. Or..um…eat it with a spoon :)
I’m so excited I found this blog tonight.
