Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite photographers! Some of you may already be familiar with her work – though I still wanted to celebrate it and write about it here today. I think that’s because after a tough couple of days creating, I am ready to take it easy for a couple days. I’m not really known for my patience, so when I’m learning something totally new – either as I design websites or creating for my Etsy store, I do get a tad bit frustrated at times. Particularly if things aren’t going well. Something to work on for sure, but it also made me think about how we recover from these moments. Taking a break from the situation is always good, but I also like having a few nice things right around my desk to look at to take my mind off things.
So that brings me to the work of Irene Suchocki, whose photos I have posted next to my desk. Her use of color and the vibrant details of life she chooses to feature in her work are wonderfully soothing and oh so beautiful. From her own profile Irene explains: “I like to explore the ethereal, the surreal, the whimsical, the mysterious, and the beautiful. I enjoy creating little poems for the eyes.” And for me her work certainly is poetry for the eyes!
Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and tv shows including Extreme Makeover, Country Living, Canadian Geographic, and many many more.
I’d love to hear from you – when things aren’t going your way – what’s your favorite way to get back on track?
I have many of this photographers work. I think she is very talented. I too struggle with Etsy wandering how to find an audience. I do well when at boutiques and art shows but when it comes to finding potential customers on Etsy, I am at a loss.
Thanks for reviewing Etsy sellers here!
Beautiful!
