It’s no surprise that London has its fair share of fantastic crafters! A real stand-out spot, however, is The Make Lounge. A former magazine journalist, Jennifer Pirtle created The Make Lounge for the modern woman:
Some wanted to make things but didn’t know how. Others simply wanted something different to do on their own or with friends. For each of them, she created The Make Lounge, a stylish, welcoming space featuring short-term, project-oriented craft workshops.
You can find a list of The Make Lounge’s workshops on their site – you can register to attend online, too! They’ll soon be launching a retail store!
Elsewhere in London, check out the swoon-worthy, hand-cut felt brooches by A Alicia Accessories. Check out her shop for photos of all the unique ways Anna Alicia styles her brooches: t-shirts, woven shirts, on the collar, on the chest… so versatile!
Looking for a unique embellishment to your next project? How about a knit button? So cool. Leah Sutton Knits is stocked with intricate knit items and patterns so that you can create your own pretties.
Finally, how about this little clutch from Bagatelles and Co.? I love how poofy the bottom is! It reminds me of an incredibly full ball gown – which it would look great with. But, of course, a pair of jeans would be just fine, too.
