Simple and easy lines

I’m lucia squillari and I’ve always had a soft spot for sewing and crafting, of any kind… basket making, crochet, knitting, beadworking, sewing, spinning….
the people behind larimeloom are:

me, I am 21 and do most of the weaving, the sewing, the spinning, modeling and computer work (photo editing, listing writing).

Melissa (mamma) is the big thinker, having many little cubbies to look after. she often comes to me in the morning to tell me all about some great brainwave she’s had overnight..

also, she is the photografer , along with Shanty, (8 yrs) my little sister. they take great shots!! :)

all our items are 100% handmade, starting from the designs, all of which are created without patterns, I often do not even draw the idea down, I just lay the cloth out and grab my scissors and cut, fingers crossed for decent results :)

I am terribly impatient and what I love about etsy is that I have total freedom of doing what I want. I usually make only one of each item because I get bored making others exactly the same.

each idea brings on several new ideas, both from me and my mom.

I recently started spinning, on an old vintage spinning wheel, it is SO much fun! you can now find colorful handspun yarns in our shop!
