Who says boys can’t be cute? I have 3, and they wore these shirts from Super Sweet Creations all last fall and winter for Thanksgiving, Christmas parties, birthdays, and other special occasions. I love having an outfit that gives a nod to a formal event, but is made by someone who clearly understands that kids aren’t miniature adults.
Have you ever tried to put lip balm on a 5 year old boy, only to be met with utter disgust about wearing “lipstick” like a girl? My son is particular. He sees his older sisters (and mom’s) obsession with lipgloss and lipstick and equates anything in a tube with girly-ness of the “gross” kind. The only sensible thing to do? Get him some gross balm of his own, from Givin Me Lip.
Let’s face it, your big sister might pinch your Cherry Chapstick but she’s not coming close to your Monkey Farts balm.
There’s a fair chance that big sis might get jealous of lil’ bro’s PB&J lip balm however.
My son gets chapped lips every winter and having some of these fun balms around seems like a good way to keep it at bay. If nothing else, it makes me chuckle!
Most sweet knit hats are more appropriate for baby girls, so it is refreshing to see some that are meant more for boys.
I am a SAHM to three little boys.
I am a slave to laundry and snacks.
I use Playhouse Disney as a negotiation tool.
I get more hugs and kisses than deserved.
I am witnessing beauty at it’s finest.
I am constantly inspired and need to keep “creatively” busy.
I knit during naptime (when I SHOULD be exercising…)
I have three boys, but it is clothing like this which sometimes makes me wish I also had a girl.
Gorgeous clothing for your little one.
Handmade and lovely girl’s clothing by gocksfrocks.
I love fun furniture for kids. Especially whimsical pieces like these from My Little Big Chair. The Little Miss Muffet Tuffet featured below is loaded with details, down to the bug print on the lining beneath the ruffles. I’m not sure if it is the ideal place for your little miss to sit and eat her curds and whey*, but it’s a perfect perch to read, to brush her hair (vanity stool?), to put on her shoes, etc
Tuffets are not just a chick thing, incidentally. There are tuffet options for boys in My Little Big Chair’s shop. I like this drum themed tuffet. Perfect for him to sit on, or bang out a tune on. You could say this piece is easy on the ears and the tush.
* Side Note: Has anyone ever deciphered exactly what curds and whey are? Because I am still wondering. It doesn’t sound all that appetizing. Maybe that is the real reason Little Miss Muffet ran away.
