I’m an “emerging” “almost” vegan, so the phrase “environmentally conscious” paired with “leather” caught my eye. I realize there are multiple ways to interpret these things — how does using leather, in your opinion, qualify as environmentally conscious? (I’m thinking of the environmentally disastrous realities of factory farming and thus thinking that leather, since it comes from cows, isn’t so environmentally great…)
Just a thought. I do think the shoes are beautiful!
